Privacy policy

Short version: your files never leave your device, and we collect nothing that identifies you.

This is not a promise about how carefully we handle your data. It is a description of how the site is built: there is no server that could receive your files, because every tool runs inside your browser.

What happens to the files you open

Nothing is uploaded. When you choose a file, your browser reads it into memory on your own device, the tool transforms it there, and the result is written back to your downloads folder. No copy is sent anywhere, so there is nothing for us to store, retain, or delete.

You can verify this yourself. Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on this site: you will see no request carrying your file. You can also disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded — the tools keep working, which would be impossible if they depended on a server.

Files are held in memory only while you are using the tool, and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

Information we collect

There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not set cookies, we do not use tracking pixels or fingerprinting, and we do not build a profile of you. We have nothing to sell or share.

We do count visits, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is a cookieless measurement tool: it records which page was requested, the site you arrived from, your country, the general type of device and browser, and how quickly the page loaded. It does not store anything on your device, does not give you an identifier, and cannot recognise you on a later visit or follow you to other sites. What it produces is a count of visits per page, not a record of a person. Cloudflare describes the tool at cloudflare.com/web-analytics.

We use this to see which tools people find useful and whether pages load fast enough. It never sees the files you open — it cannot, because they are never sent anywhere.

Our web host records standard server logs when a page is requested, including an IP address and the page requested. These are handled by the hosting provider, retained briefly for security and reliability, and are never combined with anything you do inside a tool — which we cannot see in the first place.

Advertising

This site does not currently show ads. When it does, the network will be Google AdSense, and this page will be updated before the first ad appears to say plainly what it may set on your device and how to refuse it.

Visitors in the EEA and the UK will be asked for consent through Google’s certified consent management platform before any advertising cookie is set. Refusing is a genuine choice: the tools work identically either way. You will be able to change or withdraw that consent at any time, and this page will say where.

Advertising will never have access to your files. It cannot: the files are never sent anywhere, including to us.

Your rights

We hold no account, no profile, and nothing that identifies you, so there is no personal record to request, correct, or erase. Analytics figures are aggregate counts and cannot be traced back to an individual visitor. Once advertising is live, you will be able to withdraw your consent at any time without losing access to anything.

If you believe otherwise, or you have a question about anything on this page, write to hello@mejunis.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you — in practice, when advertising is introduced — the change will be published here before it takes effect.
